Your Sweetness, Is My Weakness

Okay - Looking at this picture I see where I went wrong.  I should have left them in the oven until they had caramelised.   Still they are very lovely. 

I've patched the two photos together.  

Bean is the cat who can smell Cream from 50 paces, even if it is cooked. 

This is her "I Smell Cream" face, and when she has that face, it's better to give into her than leave her to wait. 

I'm getting over my freakout of yesterday but totally washed out.   Achy Head  and just wary.    So I did things to please myself.   Which is the best way. 

These are custard tarts btw.  

After a week of custard tarts for breakfast, Portugeuese Style... I thought I would try some myself.   I think... as well as the caramelisation, I needed a bit more cinamen in them.
