Mums In Maidenhead
We've been to Maidenhead today to meet daughter#1 and the gang, for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch.
Another good halfway place. We had an easy drive there and back, the traffic seemed much busier in the opposite direction, both times. They came by train, the Elizabeth line from Whitechapel.
After a very long lunch we walked back to the station with them. On the way we found The Maidenhead Boy, by Lydia Karpinska. Created in 1986, erected in 1995 and restored in 2005. Joined by two Wapping boys in 2025 (extra).
