Resident Cat

(30/3/25)

YAY! It's the weekend. I allowed myself a lie-in before tackling last week's ironing that I didn't get to. I wanted to get it out of the way before I created the new pile for this weekend!

We had a much-needed day at home just catching up with chores and rest. G suggested we go out in the evening, and I chose Al Seef (again). We walked along the modern-looking part of it and stopped for a karak tea. This cat came along and was winning hearts everywhere he went.

We then watched one of the waiters neatly place some food on a napkin for the cat. The cat carefully ate it, and then he stood back while more food (dessert?) was placed. Cats are something else with their manners!

We asked the waiter if the cat had a name. He said, "No," and then asked if we'd like to suggest one. I thought for a while and said, "Baz." (The outlet is called Creekside Bazaar.) He liked it and started calling the cat Baz, but Baz didn't have a clue!

Later, as we walked back to the car, we spotted Baz under this cart. He had, er, been to the loo and had a little wash, presumably ready to ask someone else for some food! What a character! I think it is the first time in all these years that I have a cat in my blip!

PS. G gets the credit for the photo. :)
