Corrieshalloch Gorge

A spectacular slot gorge but my blip and the extra are not the main event!
My annoying cold woke me before I wanted but that did mean we could get a reasonably early start on our journey north without having to hurry.
We stopped for lunch in Aviemore and, as we would arrive too early at our accommodation, we stopped at Corrieshalloch.
I wasn't sure about the new Visitor Centre when I saw pics of it but it is a nice building and fits between 2 main roads so doesn't take away from the gorge. In fact, there's a longer route following the river down and it puts the gorse and falls into context better. As you walk down there are these lovely trees and lots of smaller falls (1 in extras) so it made a lovely walk following all the paths.
We are now settled into the house that's home for the rest of the week, not far from Ullapool with views west down the loch.
The sun followed us all the way here, though not enough to give a sunset.
