Mothers Day card

This is card given to me by one of the grandchildren…so nice.

This morning I decided to go to church in Kingston to the  Mothering Day service which was very nice. The junior choir sang and then handed out bunches of daffodils to their mothers and to other mothers in the congregation… a nice touch.

I then did lots of sorting of my pots in the garden as my daffodils are over. My hostas are just beginning to have shoots so I will need to watch for slugs. I also repotted a couple of house plants.

This afternoon my daughter and family came over with presents and then we all went out for a meal which was very nice. The restaurant was so busy that service was rather slow but it didn’t matter as the food was good.  This was followed by a video call from my son.
