Mother's Day at Helliness

A darker morning, with the clocks going forward, but came lovely sunshine.  A couple of showers midmorning.  The most beautiful afternoon, warmed up too.  Windy all day, flat calm and clear tonight, beautiful red sunset.  

Up at 5am again, another early shift street cleaning.  I was on the south beat this morning, town was fairly tidy.  Met friend Julie for walkies after work.  Me, mam, dad, Jonny, big Brian, peerie Brian, Madeline and Julie headed to the Sunday Teas in Trondra for Mothers day.  A walk with the family after.  Working in the shop this evening, a busy night with the lovely evening, and light up to 8pm.  Feet up before bed. 

It's been such a lovely day for mothers day, and glad to have spent it with some of the mams that mean something to me.  A perfect afternoon for a family walk, although there was still some very wet patches.  Today is my annual first trip to Helliness, making it out here every year on the 30th.  Me, Laura, Jonny, mam and Megan, at the Helliness hooses, Cunningsburgh.
