Borrowing Day; May at 0624hrs

A beautiful calm and sunny morning.  Clouded over after lunch, winds picked up and brought rain.  Rain eased off late evening.

Up at 5am, early street beat cleaning this weekend.  I was on the north beat, the town was fairly clean.  Popped by the supermarket on my way home.  A cuppa at Madeline's, where I met friend Julie for walkies.  My car has been fixed, new brake pipes sorted, and collected it at lunchtime.  A few chores around the house, then a lazy rest of the day.  Walkies before another early night.

The borrowing days are here again, today is a day borrowed from May.  A good start to the day, with the sunshine, so hopefully a good start to May as well.  Sadly that pesky wind and rain had to appear, so it might get wild at times.  A lovely spring and summer would be wonderful, I'm sure we do deserve it.  Currently the Statsraad Lehmkuhl has been in Lerwick, visiting from Norway.  She set sail just before 10am.  Me out on my morning run, taken on the Esplanade, Lerwick at 0624hrs.
