Mothering Sunday and the girls

Started off this morning with Julia ringing at about 07:00, already dressed in her camo 'greens' and beret. Off on a six day exercise from RAF Cranwell officer training.
A brief call but nice for the girls to be able to wish her a happy Mothering Sunday.
It hasn't been a very relaxing day for Marlane, been busy with Johanna, Ruby & Eric visiting. Daniel popped in for a short while too.
around mid afternoon we did the girls school reading books with them and also some maths homework that they had been tasked with. It's every day for the past two weeks, and I think next week too.
The twins did some food preparation, for themselves. Bella made a fruit cocktail for dessert and Hetty made some Tuna with Mayo (far too much) and vinegar (yuk). She enjoyed it anyway.
I made Marlane a substantial prawn cocktail, I cleaned the prawns, laid them on a bed of shredded lettuce and chopped up Avocado, and made the Marie Rose sauce too, . It's one of her favourite things.
An episode of 'Little Princess', the one with the tadpole, and the twins went to bed at 19:30.
The odd photo of Ziggy was when I went out, before lunch, to get some rolls from Lidl. Coming back to the car Ziggy was up at the window looking out for me!
