Magnificent Magnolia

Unfortunately Mr P’s back was still sore this morning, so he couldn’t go to Mass or meet son no 2 in Edinburgh to celebrate his birthday and Mother’s Day (the boys got me some fab slippers).
I was feeling a little rough too but it was totally self inflicted (too much red wine last night) so after Mass, I caught the bus into Edinburgh. I had a quick visit to John Lewis before meeting son no 2 as I had a voucher to use which expired today. We had lunch in Baba (excellent) in George Street and then
wandered through the Gardens. Edinburgh looked splendid today and wasn’t overrun by tourists. I had a long phone chat with son no 1 once I was back home. Lovely day.
