Damian

Thankfully Mr P’s back pain was a lot better today but not enough to drive to Ayrshire to visit my cousin Nadia and her lovely little baby. Undeterred I set off on what ended up being a rather gruelling 4 hour round trip.
It was worth it though when Damian smiled up at me. He was 8 weeks premature and diagnosed with Downs Syndrome a week after he was born, so it’s been a tough time for Nadia. She’s adapted really well though and is a brilliant mum. I really enjoyed meeting him and spending time with Nadia and her sister Chiara. We had lunch in an Italian restaurant in Ardrossan and the little one was as good as gold.
