Freezing Rain

A storm with freezing rain was forecast for us this weekend with warnings to be prepared for power outages, but, fortunately, the storm did not live up to its teaser...and hurrah for that! 

We did get freezing rain overnight though and woke up to some interesting blip-ops, which is the reason I can post this on the same day I took the photo! Imagine...no frantic search at the end of the day for an emergency photo..

Life is so much easier when blips find me instead! And early in the day.

Another lazy Sunday..morning coffee and cake with neighbour Elaine, FaceTime and phone calls with family.. and time to get caught up posting back-blips!  Wheee
