Sabbath

Mothering Sunday, a beautiful sunny day here in North Devon. The lost hour provides lighter evenings but a darker start to the day. I guess most people don’t see the sun arriving?
Absolutely beautiful stroll through the fields and woodlands a couple of moments when no traffic could be heard. Tree creepers and woodpeckers have had a good winter and were very vociferous. Roe deer provided some sprint training for Dippy.
A light breakfast and swim where I was the only person swimming there.
A spot of chauffeuring and quick lunch before heading back to Amadeus to sort out the walking sticks I’d made for the pilgrimage project a couple of friends were organising in Portugal. They were very pleased with the 20 that they collected, more will follow.
Over to Appledore to help a friend recce his fishing boat and plan its restoration before going back to the water next month..
A drink and fun social in the Beaver Inn before heading to the Westleigh Inn for supper, Dippy was brought here in a hat when being a tiny puppy and so he was very well received.
