Boundary Bay - swim stop
After a comfortable night in our tent we woke to a beautiful pink sunrise over the sea.
For our second day paddling we headed further up the coast, stopping at various bays for views and leg stretch. The first was Boundary Bay and we had it all to ourselves. So a lovely peaceful swim in the clear water, and then coffee.
Our final beach was Mosquito Bay - luckily not named because of an abundance of mosquitos.
We arrived quite early in the afternoon so emptied the boat and put the tent up. Then later we went back out for a paddle around some rocks just along the coast. The wind had picked up a bit around lunchtime but was calm again by late afternoon so lovely flat sea.
Another evening fending off pesky wekas. Nothing lost today but they did make a hole in our food bag so it was a close thing.
