Grub Up!

This blackbird was sitting on the fence enjoying the sunshine when I went out to collect my washing from the line…and she didn’t flinch as I unpegged everything. She was still there when I went back out with a camera and she sat for ages while I fired off a few shots.

There is a least one grub hanging from her beak. I wonder if she has a nest nearby with hungry mouths to feed.
