Bluebells

I promise you that this is not an ‘April Fool’ blip…

I was somewhat surprised to find a few stems of bluebell flowers in the woods this morning - these are the first ones I have seen this year. There is a little red beetle on the bottom petal of the flower to the bottom right :-)

There was a bit of frost around first thing and it felt cooler than recent days (it has since warmed up). Walking by the beck (just after 8 a.m) there was a slight mist rising from the water - see extra.
