Glorious blooms

Less wind today and so, thankfully, no more magnolia buds strewn across the lawn. The ones I brought in are opening in a bowl of water.
Most of the country seem to have had lovely weather this morning but we’ve had a cloud cover  till a bit of sun started coming through around lunchtime.

Decided to feature one of the blooms of the Magnolia Soulangia in my blip today incase more damage occurs or there is a sharp frost over the next few days which burns them brown. You can see the forsythia in bloom behind it too.
Purple blooms are starting to appear on the Magnolia Susan but there’s nothing much  on the Stellata maybe it is on its way out.

A good return to singing this morning spending quite a bit of time on a new Queen compilation, in particular on Bohemian Rhapsody, it’s a work in progress and still being tweaked! Lots of fun as usual.

More singing tonight at church in preparation for Easter, soon back into the swing of things!
