The joy of giving

While I was sat in the departure lounge waiting to return home, I saw a gentleman place his coin on the side of this fun charity collection bin, and as you're supposed to he let go and the coin rolled in.

But then something shocking happened! 

The man just walked off! He didn't stop to watch his coin roll around in every decreasing circles until it dropped through the hole in the middle and into the container below. That's the best bit!

As a child I used to love watching my coin roll around and then disappear. Unfortunately in this age of being cashless and contactless I didn't have a coin to donate today. 

Giving can be very enjoyable and rewarding and it is certainly a blessing to those who are on the receiving end. Next time you give in some way, try and stop and take the time to engage, rather than adopting the give and go approach.

And remember, God loves a cheerful giver
