It's five o'clock somewhere

Any excuse for a drink! 

But today is a day of celebration for me as I start life in a new direction, having formally handed in my notice for my current job.

Life at sea has been incredible, and I've visited some beautiful and fascinating places, but more than that I've had the joy of working alongside a truly wonderful group of people who serve their country faithfully and I will miss them dearly.

God is good, however, and He has graciously given me a whole load of new beautiful people to love and share life with. Being ashore with this church promises to be a very exciting and rewarding chapter in my life. 

I am very, very blessed!
