New Venue

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

It’s Mother’s Day. My Bro is pretty busy as they are moving house in 2 days so his plan was to go to a garden centre. And queue. To get a table for 10. On Mother’s Day.

I explained earlier in the week to my Bro that his plan was TERRIBLE and less appealing than going through labour again. I did not end up with stretch marks to have a breakdown over a panini and crisps somewhere overwhelmingly busy, hot and noisy.

So everyone* came to our house for lunch instead. Mary Doll had a lovely time. I spoke to Victor later on the phone and he said that “it was fabulous”, “excellent” and that he loved having all four grandchildren together. (No mention of his children)!

But it really was lovely having everyone together.

And there wasn’t a panini in sight!

PS The Youngest Mini Princess came back yesterday so we had a pre Mother’s Day family night and watched ‘A Real Pain’ which we thought was great.
