Sore spot

Eventually gave up on pain management and phoned the health centre at the unseemly hour (to me) of 8.30 this morning for an appointment with the doctor. Only 16th in the phone queue, so it must have been my lucky day. I have now been absorbed into the meat grinder that is the NHS with blood tests and x-ray to be undertaken and a visit to physiotherapy too. My sore back will no doubt have improved before I've gone through all those hoops. Unless the hoops make it worse...
