Gone!

A couple of weeks ago I gave someone from school a couple of dates when I'd be free to meet for lunch. I didn't hear back so I assumed we weren't meeting, and then he emailed me around eight o'clock last night to see if we were still able to meet today. 

I had a petty moment when my knee-jerk reaction was to say that I'd made plans since I emailed him TWO WEEKS AGO, but, actually, I was completely free and there was no reason not to meet up. I'd come up to Kirkby to do a few chores but that was it.

And I'm glad I did get over myself, because we had a very enjoyable lunch together. 

After that, I walked back up to the house, Passing through Fairgarth, I was surprised to see a whole house has been knocked down! I assume someone bought it and wanted to replace the building that was already there. It still took me by surprise, though!
