The docks

I don't remember ever visiting Albert Docks as a student in the mid-eighties. I'm not even sure it was a 'destination' back then.

I do remember visiting Bob there in the early nineties: he was a young, single, and thriving entrepreneur, and I wasn't. Well, I was still young, but, anyway, none of that ever came between us.

The Minx and I drove out through the docks, this morning, back to Salford in time for nine o'clock meetings, and then spent the day working from home until we went to watch 'Mickey 17' at The Everyman in the evening.

Man, I hated the first twenty minutes, but then I settled into it, and when Mickey 18 appeared, I was able to sit back and enjoy Robert Pattinson's acting, which was superb. By the end, I was very much in a 'would recommend' state of mind.
