Notes: Woke early, around 530a, didn't get up right away but much earlier than usual, thank goodness - had a text from the owners that they were now planning to roll in by 1030a! Not a good thing at all. Jumped thru shower and threw the sheets and towels into the wash. Michelle arrival around 11a so really needed to get in gear! Kept going, underarms quite bad, did then write the owners back that I'd need more time and that my sister wouldn't arrive until late morning - they agreed to push back their arrival and do some errands once they got here (whew! so much to do yet). Got a bunch of the car loaded, Michelle arrived just before 11a and helped me with the rest - I told them I'd be ready by noon and they pulled in just before but did wait for me to text. Was good to see them briefly and then Michelle & I said a quick goodbye and headed our separate ways. Shadow was outside but I did get to say goodbye to Chloe - was a bit sad leaving, espec w/ Michelle but did ok. Drove a short bit to Leesburg and stopped at the Sprouts right on the route - got the pasture-raised eggs I was looking for, grass-fed ground beef on sale for $4.99 (93% lean, prefer 80-85% but grabbed 2 of those) and the pork rinds were on sale. Back on the road then, decent drive and scenic, some slower roads and small towns but truck heavy and wasn't in a hurry. Arrived just after 3p - dogs met me at the door and Dot (the little girl Yorkie) is so sweet and immediately won my heart! George was a bit more standoffish but warmed up pretty quickly! It took awhile to unload and get the bedroom set up and then I learned more about the house and process from Carrie and then Chuck - both very nice people. Storms rolled in mid evening, some nice rain (I pulled car out of garage for the rinsing off!). Pulled out my toaster oven/air fryer and warmed my roast and had a boiled egg. Took shower then, rash seems pretty bad still and has gotten a bit worse lately. Sat out then and chatted w/ them both in the evening until after 9p - pretty tired!
