Low tide
Huge tides at the moment. At low water, Lottie and I had a furtle about amongst the rock pools and seaweed. I found a white pottery jar, looks like a face cream one from the 70s, I think, and some bits of pottery and a black bottle stopper.
Lottie drew my attention to these butterfish. She must have heard them under the weed and stones. Three of them, with their distinctive black spots down their backs. She wasn't interested in them, not as exciting as crabs!
We'd been over to see John earlier. Mis-timed as he was still finishing his lunch, so a very brief visit, to take him some new slippers. Mike and Lottie took the chance to find the craft shop and have a coffee and buy a jar of jam! I met them their and had a nice catch up with the owner, Fiona.
Another lovely day of sunshine and the temperature got up to 13°C!
