Rainbow Resistance

In these challenging times—when inclusivity is somehow still up for debate—I was heartened to spot this Herdwick proudly sporting what can only be described as a full-body Pride flag. Apparently, Langdale’s flocks have formed a grassroots collective: Ewes for Equality. They're reclaiming the fells as spaces of love, solidarity, and progressive pasture management. I was told (via interpretive bleating) that this particular sheep, “Comrade Baa-bara,” is leading next week’s hilltop gathering , called Inclusive Fells, with readings from Gramsci and Grazing Rights.
