First light..

Well not really, but first light I saw when I opened the curtains. 

Tonnes, literally, of soil and rock moved today. Currently at the "looks a mess" stage, but I also know it's a job done well. We've discovered over time that the owners before us buried plastic sheeting, tonne bags and a lot of other random stuff in the garden, so I think this is finally, after 12 years, the last of it gone. Lots of drainage added, one of those jobs no-one notices but makes a huge difference.

Then a mild panic...exactly a week till book launch... Website shop still at the build stage, gulp, but first stock order (200copies eeek) ordered.
Also noticed that whilst the books, adverts and isbn are all correct the Amazon page never got updated with a slight title change (learnt to learned) , and theoretically can't be this close to release. However a nice chap in tech support could see the proof and that it was an honest mistake, so he altered whilst we were chatting. Phew.
