Curls (Day 3613)
My day started with a little bit of wet wall cutting in the garden before I zoomed to town to collect the rest of the units for the bathroom re-fit. I was back in Stromness shortly after 830 and got stuck into making a splashback to go behind the wash basin with the wet wall I cut earlier. Cutting the mitres in the wet wall trim took far too long but they look ok. With the splashback done and sealed, I got the basin and tap fitted before moving on to fitting the two storage units. Once I had the worktop stuck down on the units I stopped for lunch.
The afternoon was spent clearing stuff out of the bathroom and fitting plinths to the units, then fitting two mirrors and a towel rail. Tomorrow I will get the bath panel made, then spend my time patching the walls and ceiling where the plasterboard has been cut out for cable runs.
Back home, while I waited for my beautiful wife to come home, I cut a bit of wet wall which will make the bath panel tomorrow.
