Twisted (Day 3614)

Off to Stromness again this morning for the last day on the bathroom re-fit. The morning was spent faffing about making a bath panel out of off-cuts of wet wall. It turned out pretty well, and when the customer popped in at lunchtime, she was really pleased with how it looked. She asked me to put another piece of wet wall between the bath and the side of the basin unit because the wall is getting wet when she uses the shower. I had to remove the skirting board I had fitted and cover up the silicone sealant I had spent a while getting right, but it all looks better with the extra wet wall in place. 
The afternoon was spent patching holes in the ceiling and walls left by the electrician, and once that was done I got cleared out and cleaned the bathroom one last time.
It looks far better than it did, and I am fairly pleased with it.
It appears that  my beautiful wife  has had a very busy day in the sunshine, she's even caught the sun for the first time this year.
