Important Knots

So the jib halyard (I think) was frayed = not good. But good that we noticed it now and not when it suddenly went bang at what would be a deeply inconvenient moment. So we had to cut off about 0.5 metre and re-loop it through this cleat and tie an identical knot to secure it. This was not as easy as it looked. So, as a belt and braces we worked out how replicate on a spare piece of rope and took this photo. All done. A minor setback but we had rather too many of those today. Nonetheless a good day with bright sunshine and very cold with an easterly wind. 9667 steps. Home now.
