Casualties

Busy busy busy at work again today, but I got a couple of nice bits of feedback which improved my mood a bit. The rest of the time I was up and down to the kitchen to reheat a salt water soak for my mystery injury that revealed itself last Friday and required GP intervention yesterday.

The weather today was so lovely though that I had to make the most of it, so I cycled to the Bush estate on my way to the shops. I was sad to see that two or three trees had come down in the recent storm, including this absolutely massive old oak. The base had split open as its roots gave way, and the impact shattered its great boughs further up. The tree had been about 27 metres tall.

Back home with my supply of decaf teabags replenished I made veggie wraps for tea.
