Candidate's sign

Signs for candidates running in the federal election (April 28) are plentiful around the island. I like this painted one, haven't ever seen one like it. We met Colin Plant when he came to the island with Zeb King, the NDP candidate who was running in the provincial election last fall. A very nice guy, but he doesn't have much chance of being elected here.
Elizabeth May, who has been the MP for our riding since 2011, shares the leadership of the Green Party with Jonathan Pedneault. It's likely that she will be re-elected here. The most recent poll that I've seen shows the Liberals with a slight lead over the Conservatives and the NDP far behind. I haven't seen any stats for the Green Party. I've heard several interviews on the radio and tv with people who are planning to vote strategically this time rather than for candidates running for the party that they usually vote for. A crucial election for sure.
