New growth

I used the macro lens on my old Rebel this morning, haven't used it for so long. I obviously need to practice focusing with it! Fun to try something different though and to look for signs of spring on my walk.
Did a bit of housework then spent a couple of hours in the garden, weeding the veggie beds and turning the soil, only a couple of inches for now because it's so wet. Felt great to get my hands in the dirt and enjoy a bit of warmth in the sun. Hope to cut the grass tomorrow.
