Near to the heart of Robert Louis Stevenson

There cant be many store car parks that have this view. This is the start of the Pentland hills which afford super hillwalking and is only a few miles from the centre of Edinburgh.
The author Robert Louis Stevenson loved to walk in these hills, and just near to where this was taken was his summer home in Swanston.
Local folklore claims that a tree near here (which I can see from my work window) is where RLS used to sit and make notes, which whether its right or wrong fills me with great excitement, that the idea for Kidnapped or Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde could have been concocted on that very spot.
