April fools

The day was surprisingly free of April Fools pranks today. Maybe the general mood over cost of living and the US lunacy does not allow people to think about such things, because the world has generally gone too mad.
We sorted out some things to take to the tip and waited ages there, then did some shopping, feeling disgruntled at the Waitrose self checkout system, and then finished sorting out the study following its redecoration
I felt full of cold much of the day, and the horrible cold wind outside doesn’t help but at least the sunset was good and looks like a broken heart in this photo.
