Pub

Bit of a frustrating day. Tried to paint over where we had a leak in livings room but stains were hard to defeat so had to use special paint so took much longer than I expected. Then I saw that the lights needed cleaning so took all the glass fittings off, only to break one in the process. Spent an hour or so in an online chat with Next but they don’t do spare parts so it’s got to be a new fitting. Grrrr.
R was chairing a PPG meeting at the village hall, so went along to that and it was packed with people much too everyone’s surprise. After the meeting we went with K snd another neighbour for a couple of drinks, which was bery pleasant. Jo, the neighbour, knew my parents from bowls and spoke warmly of them.
So, better end to the day than beginning
