It's been another lovely day, so what better way to spend it than by staying in and working on my print panel for the competition in a couple of weeks' time.

This is the first draft but I will probably stick with it. I decided to pop the entertainers in colour against mono backgrounds which I think has worked well. I'm also chuffed that I managed to use some FOC paper (Photo Silk) which somebody at camera club gave me instead of throwing it away. I think the quality will be OK for this exercise.

Historical Society this evening sounds interesting - Westonbirt Gardens and the Holford Legacy. We've been promised a 'free' glass of wine too as we had to buy drinks for some friends last time as they forgot to bring any money. I knew they would remember.

In other news mrsfb had her shingles jab this morning. She has to go back again in October for a second one. When I had mine it was just a single injection. Apparently that was with a live vaccine, which might explain why I felt so under the weather afterwards. They use a non-live vaccine now.
