Two Candles
We had to pop down to the shop and post office this afternoon, and as it is Thursday I was on the look out for something abstract. I got a few shadows, some flowers and a tree (I was actually looking for the nuthatch which Merlin said was there, I caught a glimpse I think). Then we called into the church as I thought a friend would be on welcoming duty today. He was. I explained my quest for an abstract and he said well he had just lit two candles for some friends who had died recently.
So that had to be the blip really. You might be able to make him out in the background explaining the history of the church to a proper visitor, from Sussex as it happens. That's the abstract bit :-)
In other news we have a camera club three way battle this evening, Cirencester v Cheltenham v Stroud. It's in Cheltenham this year and I have two prints in our selection. I am planning to go to watch us come last third in person.

Rory's assessment of Pompey may yet prove to be correct.
