Always Save the Best for Last...

This is the final photo in my Palm Point Nature Park series. 
I'll admit that I got lucky with this photo. When I snuck a peek at it on location I wasn't impressed. I shoot RAW so it was dark with very little detail. But when I worked with it later in Light Room that all changed. Osprey 'dive' at their fishy targets feet first. I've read that they are capable of lifting and carrying fish weighing up to 4 lbs, which is about what this 'Fishhawk' weighs. This catch was certainly less than that, but still impressive. I'm fairly certain that she/he had hungry chicks waiting back at the nest. m
