Daffodils in da Wind
A beautiful sunny day, hardly a cloud in the sky, same this evening. A chilly start, but wasn't long before it warmed. Breezy all day.
I've been working with Cliffy all day. We started off on the mini essykert, paper recycling waste from Bressay. In the afternoon we were litter picking around various streets in Lerwick. Some chores sorted after work. Working in the shop this evening, the usual busy standard. Feet up before bed.
This past two days have had a right proper spring feel in the air, especially with the warm sunshine, even a warm wind too. Things starting to look spring like too, a few early lambs running around, and some lovely bright patches of colour in the landscape. Most of the colour is coming from the daffodils in bloom. Such a simple flower, yet a hardly breed, they sure can stand up to the winds here. A breezy daffodil patch at Ham, Bressay.
