Little Women

Festival Theatre, Edinburgh

My book group's classic for Christmas pick last year was Little Women and one of the group noticed the Anne-Marie Casey stage adaption was going to come to Edinburgh, so a few of us went to see it.

It was a beautiful evening to get away from the desk early. We met for tapas ahead of the show to discuss the previous month's book.

The staging was supplemented and varied a little as the play progressed but the main elements remained throughout. The small cast brought it all together really well. A few familiar faces, which was a nice surprise, but all brought the distinct characters to life.
