Plane Trees

We have rows of plane trees along our street. They provide shade in summer and a few (million) leaves in Autumn. If you don’t rake them up frequently you get buried.

Today we went and got our flu shots. I was happy to get an appointment before my holiday and surgery in the next few weeks. It is at the old General Practice where I worked so I had a few people to chat to including the nurse I have known for 30 years.

My book is very engaging in a scary way. Bob has started listening to it on audio while he walks in the mornings. I got to a particularly scary bit last night and couldn’t go to sleep afterwards. I was really tired after my physiotherapy but couldn’t settle. I’ll have to finish it off quickly so I can rest. Haha.

We had a short but nice visit from the family this afternoon between picking up Leo from Rugby and Maddy starting her shift at work. They spend a lot of time driving in and out of town with work and the children’s commitments.
