back into the light

We had lunch in the Italian cafe in the High Street today; the first time since her knee operation. Next door to the health food shop for some turmeric tea (beyond my pay grade, but I understand it helps the healing process).

Then, down to greengrocer's at the far end of the High Street. It's been more than 6 months since she could walk that far. 

She was greeted like a long lost friend; she told him about her knee, he told her about his imminent trip to Australia with his daughter and grandson. 

As well as some veggies, we stocked up with a few jars of his locally produced honey.  

We seem to be getting back to normal - from the dark into the light.
