Afternoon walk.
There is nothing as beautiful as an English Spring day when the weather is set fair, as it is just now.
Everywhere is fresh and green.
Our favourite pub was doing main meals at lunchtime at a 50 percent reduction.
So along we went and thoroughly enjoyed it.
On our way home we stopped so I could go for a short walk, which I savoured!
It was 18C today in places which were sheltered from the blustery chill wind, and people were eating lunch outside in the pub garden. The first time that had happened this year.
I enjoyed my walk up the lane and back with Stephen and my trusty crutch!
I took quite a few photos but liked this one In particular.
I am now sitting in the summerhouse looking out at the freshly mown grass, and the buds on the apple tree we planted two years ago, at the end of this year, about to unfurl.
It gave us 6 large cooking apples last year!
Hoping for some more this time.
A pair of Bluetits are nesting in the box attached to the rear of this place.
Stephen has gone off for an appointment with the chiropractor, as he’s had a bit of trouble with his back.
She is the one who treated me last summer and suggested I had some X-rays which led to my hip operations. For which I am profusely grateful.
It will be time for tea when he gets home. He’s gone on the train and will come back on the bus.
