Out With the Old; In With the New
We had breakfast and started our day. I took my phone and prayer book and headed to the front porch. My goal was to say morning prayers and read all of your journals. Before I opened my book, hubby came out and said the new car had arrived. Oh goodness, the paperwork we had to work through. Many hours later, hubby drove our new van off the lot. We got a salad for lunch, bought new gray towels for the car seats and came home. Our day is shot but I love the car. There are tons of buttons that are unfamiliar. Hubby will read the owner’s manual from cover to cover and explain it all to me. I took the photo of my blue car the last day I owned it. Sure hope this new one is as dependable and trouble free. We saw our beautiful country in our old car. Can’t wait to make all new memories with this one. I will be overly cautious for awhile until we get the first scratch. We have leftovers for dinner so our work is done. Maybe I will get to read all your journals tomorrow morning. Wishing you some unexpected spare time. Stay safe.
