Shake it Off
I ended up not dealing with the photo uploads yesterday but instead spent most of today troubleshooting some issues and cursing at technology. Finally, I took my camera and went outside to clear my head. Lots of birds in the trees and in the garden, including a boisterous group of Tufted Titmice. I love this shot because his whole lower body is moving while his head stayed perfectly still. I think it kind of has a "Marilyn Monroe over the subway grate" vibe!
I have to confess to doing a really stupid thing on Saturday when I was shooting the dog rally. I failed to check the time on both cameras to make sure they were synchronized, as well as being on the correct time. Well, one was okay but the other hadn't been changed back from when I was in TX. Sooooo, when combing both sets of images in LR, the order was all wrong because of the difference in time stamps. I thought my head was going to explode trying to sort it all out and to figure out which trials/dogs were in what order. At one point, I somehow deleted a whole group of images and then had to go into Trash to fish them out and re-edit them all. I used to be so much better with technology but somewhere along the way, it got ahead of me. Anyway, all is good now and I've got two Galleries live, all sorted into the events of each day. And I will NEVER shoot another event without making sure my two cameras are synched to the same exact time!
Typical spring weather here with temps hitting 70 today and probably not getting overt 50 tomorrow.
I've been taking Tylenol today just because my arm is a bit swollen and sore - not surprising since it got a gazillion tiny holes bored in it yesterday. I'm keeping the tattoo well covered with the same stuff I used when I was dealing with radiation burns post cancer. I think there is an odd symmetry to this.
Hubs is off to karate tonight while Jax and I will watch a little TV probably. Or maybe read.
cheers,
Debbi
