Barclay Viewforth Church

Mr P and I had to go and meet with an architect at Mozolowski & Murray today to finalise the details for our new orangery and garden studio. After our meeting we walked into town and had lunch at Café Seven in Tollcross. It was another beautiful day but with a very chilly wind. We enjoyed a Still Life exhibition at the Scottish Gallery and also the John Bellany exhibition at the Open Eye Gallery. We stopped off at Pentland Plants on the way home to use a voucher I’d been given as a present to buy a pink magnolia tree for our garden.
We celebrated some good news tonight. Son no 2’s partner (Jodie) had a second interview with a Scottish travel firm this afternoon and she’s been offered the job. It’s a digital marketing role and not related to her accountancy degree or her experience in banking but it’s an area she really enjoys so is delighted!
