Giant Lily

I was cycling through Norwich side streets yesterday, when the sight of a 10ft high lily in someones front garden stopped me in my tracks. I wanted to knock on their door to ask how they'd managed it!. I used to grow the glorious white Casablanca Lily in pots. I was told you could smell them as you walked down the street.But they certainly never got as big as this and after several years, in spite of masses of well rotted muck, quietly disapeared: my guess was slugs got them. Anyway, I returned this morning to get this. They are past their best but still spectacular eh!
