Farewell

Said goodbye to Beth and Laura this morning, plus Marcel the van. They have sold her so a new intrepid explorer will enjoy the delights.
We also said goodbye to Aotearoa New Zealand. It’s been a wonderful trip. It hadn’t been in our To Do List - but when our son, his girlfriend and our niece and her partner headed off we couldn’t help but join in for a short while.
Lakes, mountains, sea, beaches, rivers, islands, cricket, parkrun, kayaks, snorkelling, camping, seals, dolphins, birds, even wekas, we’ve loved seeing and doing it all. The sunshine (and rain), friendliness of the people and the easy travelling have made it a delight. And spending time with family out therehas been a real treat.
Will we be back - it’s tempting …
