A lovely day and we used it well!
We got a small job done at the UK home of our friends then had lunch sitting out on the decking in glorious sunshine with our books. SO quiet and there are changes; lodges not there anymore, new ones appearing but always a gift of quiet and rest when we visit. Hoping it gets a visit from its owners this summer.

Later, we visited T&3 at this church where our friends go when they are over. We’ve also got to know the folk there over the years and although we don’t visit often (enough) it’s always a lovely afternoon. Beautiful Delia Smith cheese scones on offer with our tea/ coffee today. And 12 visitors…. so lots of chatter.
