We took the long way home through Hayes wood. The birdsong matched the beautiful day. After an egg and bacon brunch which we ate in the garden, we took the MG on a trip to West Malling and the Spadework’s garden centre. (But could we get the roof to fold down… no!) The pumpkin field at the garden centre looked very empty today. Not its turn to shine yet.
